Post-Newtonian Equations of Motion for Inertial Guided Space APT Systems
نویسنده
چکیده
The equations of motion derived in this paper are aimed to determine according to the post-Newtonian framework the relative motion of Earth satellites with respect to inertial guided space Acquisition, Pointing and Tracking systems. The equations are suitable for satellites that are even far from the systems. The tool used to derive them is Synge’s world-function for the Earth surrounding space. Hence the equations are written in terms of the quasi-Cartesian coordinates tied to the systems. Redefining Gravity and Newtonian Natural Motion
Traditional Newtonian mechanics treats gravity as one of the forces contributing to the acceleration of a body in motion. Newtonian natural motion is defined relative to an abstract inertial space where gravity is non-existent and free body velocity motion remains constant unless modified by applied force. With this interpretation, gravitational force is an embedded characteristic whose effect ...
متن کاملInertial and slow manifolds for delay equations with small delays
Yu. A. Ryabov and R. D. Driver proved that delay equations with small delays have Lipschitz inertial manifolds. We prove that these manifolds are smooth. In addition, we show that expansion in the small delay can be used to obtain the dynamical system on the inertial manifold. This justifies “post-Newtonian” approximation for delay equations.

(SC)RMI: A (S)emi-(C)lassical (R)elativistic (M)otion (I)integrator, to model the orbits of space probes around the Earth and other planets Abstract Today, the motion of spacecrafts is still described according to the classical Newtonian equations plus the so-called relativistic corrections, computed with the required precision using the Post-(Post-) Newtonian formalism. The current approach, w...

Mobile robotic systems, which include a mobile platform with one or more manipulators, mounted at specific locations on the mobile base, are of great interest in a number of applications. In this paper, after thorough kinematic studies on the platform and manipulator motions, a systematic methodology will be presented to obtain the dynamic equations for such systems without violating the base n...
متن کاملGravitational radiation reaction and balance equations to post-Newtonian order
Gravitational radiation reaction forces and balance equations for energy and momenta are investigated to 3/2 post-Newtonian (1.5PN) order beyond the quadrupole approximation, corresponding to the 4PN order in the equations of motion of an isolated system. By matching a post-Newtonian solution for the gravitational field inside the system to a post-Minkowskian solution (obtained in a previous wo...
